1. The Service
World Cup 2026 Tipping (Tippy) is a free, entertainment-only web application that lets friend groups and workplaces predict match results for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The service does not involve real-money prizes, betting, or gambling of any kind.
2. Registration
The display nameyou choose at registration is visible to other players on your groups' leaderboards, and for open leagues also on the tournament's public page without signing in. Please do not use your email address as your name; you can change the name at any time in your account. See the privacy policy for details.
A valid email address or a Google account is required to register. Keep your account credentials confidential; you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
The following are prohibited:
- Submitting predictions or testing invite codes using automated tools (bots).
- Collecting personal data of other users.
- Disrupting the service, servers, or network.
- Providing false information or deceiving other users.
4. Intellectual Property
The source code, design, and content of this site are the property of the Operator. Team names, flags, and other trademarks are the property of their respective owners (FIFA, national associations).
5. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided free of charge for entertainment purposes. The Operator accepts no liability for inaccuracies in match data supplied by third-party API providers, planned or unplanned service interruptions, or any inconvenience arising therefrom. Scoring is calculated automatically; well-founded disputes regarding results will be investigated and, where necessary, manually corrected. The Operator's decision is final.
6. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice or explanation.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be announced on the site; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve it through negotiation.
9. Voluntary Support
Using Tippy is free of charge. Users may voluntarily support the service financially through external providers.
Such support is a voluntary donation: it is not consideration for the service and does not entitle the donor to anything in return — no additional features, no in-game advantage, no highlighting and no discounts. Supporters and non-supporters use exactly the same service.
Payment does not take place on the Operator's platform: it is handled by the external provider (Donably / Barion Payment Zrt., or Revolut) under their own terms and conditions. For any question relating to a transaction, that provider's terms apply.
